The village is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful scenery with nice views. Located 5 km from the protected area \\\"Karakuz\\\", 30 km from Danube River and the town of Silistra, about 110 km to the Black Sea coast.
The village is full of monuments and archaeological finds, has a medieval fortress. In the village was built one of the most interesting in the region Turkish fountains.
The village is located a kilometer south of the road Shumen - Silistra. There is a rail link and station. Hilly and flat terrain at an altitude at or below 200 m. The soil is fertile black - keeping almost all plant species typical of these latitudes. This is the most fertile agricultural region in Bulgaria.
