The area is extremely pleasant - being only 10 miles away from Ruse it has all amenities of the big city just at a glance but at the same time it has the privilege to be outside the big city and away from all that noise, city air,crowded streets etc. The area is very calm, quiet and extremely picturesque. There is a nice forest and a big lake - the preferred place for a relaxing weekend by many people living in Ruse. The place has a very well established sports facility and there are many national sport events held regularly there. You can go for some paddling on a small boat or a canoe, ride some jet or even water ski, spend some time on a wind - surf or just amuse your self by fishing. Hunting is popular in the area as well.
