The area is extremely pleasant - being only 10 miles away from Ruse it has all amenities of the big city just at a glance but at the same time it has the privilege to be outside the big city and away from all that noise, city air,crowded streets etc. The area is very calm, quiet and extremely picturesque. There is a nice forest and a big lake - the preferred place for a relaxing weekend by many people living in Ruse. The place has a very well established sports facility and there are many national sport events held regularly there. You can go for some paddling on a small boat or a canoe, ride some jet or even water ski, spend some time on a wind - surf or just amuse your self by fishing. Hunting is popular in the area as well. There are two clubs for horse riding in the area. There are many places for a nice picnic in the hot summer days as well. The city of Ruse offers cinemas, theater, opera house, many good restaurants with delicious national cuisine, schools, college etc. It is called the “Little Vienna ” because of its architectural stile similar to the one in Vienna and preserved present days.
The village is a medium size - about 3 000 people live there. It is the preferred place for living by many people who work in Ruse. The roads are accessible all year long, there is regular transport from and to the village by buses on every hour. There is a train station in the village as well. There are - petrol station, gas station, medical center, police and several food stores. Satellite and cable TV are available as well as Internet access and telephone lines. All Bulgarian mobile providers cover the area as well.
